Welcome Back to Our Wonderful Farm
25 September 2009
I am thrilled to announce we are once again open and looking forward to your visit. Here at the Farm we know the importance of health and hygiene and we have been praised for our exemplary facilities which keep our visitors safe and healthy.
As with all outdoor activities health and hygiene are very important and we ask everyone that visits us to make sure they wash their hands after feeding or holding the animals. We have a poem that we love here at the Farm and think that you should all read it too!
Your Wondrous Hands…
Your hands are really wondrous things
They do so much each day
They catch a ball and pat the dog
With toys they love to play
They help with jobs around the house
At school I have a hunch
They turn the pages of your books
And help you eat your lunch
But dirt and germs are everywhere
This causes some alarm
These nasty things can get inside
And do your body harm
They gather on your wondrous hands
From everything you touch
The cat, the swing, the baseball bat
From door knobs, coins and such
But you have the power over germs
And you can make them flee
There is something simple you can do
So healthy you will be
Whenever you’re around a sink
Be sure to take a stand
Give germs no hope – use lots of soap
And wash your wondrous hands
