Matilda Lays her Eggs!

07 June 2011

There was more excitement in the Reptile House this morning as one of our beautiful Lavender Corn snakes, Matilda began to lay her eggs

Matilda is two years old and this is the first time she has laid. Farmer Martin will take good care of the eggs and they will be incubated for around 60 days before they begin to hatch.

We were lucky enough to get a little video of Matilda laying one of her eggs. She is a very friendly snake, often handled by Martin and the reptile Team.

We have a great list of snakes and other reptiles avaialble for sale, You can find it by clicking here!
