Mitchell, Mackenzie and Farmer Dave!!

On 24th August our Farm Helpers for the day were Mitchell age 7 and Mackenzie age 4. They were a big help and got really stuck in to loads of exciting actives! Bathing tortoises, baby goat bottle feeding, walking the dogs and one of our favourites – mucking out! Mum Jill was really pleased that they had such a nice time and even sent us cool pictures of the day. I especially liked this one which shows Farmer Dave and the boys getting really ‘hands on’ in the walk-in aviary.

Farmer Dave, who was the boys mentor for the day, said they were both lots of fun and would make good future farmers!

Farmer days are very popular and lots of fun and you can come and join us too!

The days make exciting gifts for Christmas or a Birthday and are a great chance to see the Farm from our side!
