A Windy Start to Life!!!

What a time to be born! This week we have had two beautiful baby llamas born. A baby llama is called a cria and they are a little unsteady on their feet at first. So it was extra difficult for our newborns as the wind has been blowing all around the Farm! However, before we knew it they were charging around the paddocks like race horses!

Both the llamas are girls and their mums are taking really good care of them, as you can see in the picture. This one was born on Monday and is already proving popular with visitors. It is great that we have two crias at the same time as they can play and explore and run around together!

It is not long until Easter now so why not pop down and see them yourselves? You can even grab a bag of food from the gate and give them a snack!
